Summers County crushed the PikeView Panthers in their early start to the football season on Thursday, Aug. 26.
The team rushed 428 yards in their victory over the Panthers. The Bobcats defense was also on point keeping the Panthers from going any further than 81 yards rushing and 78 yards passing.
It was a game with a special name for the Bobcats and Panthers, “The Battle for the Bluestone.” A trophy was awarded to the Bobcats for their victory.
The Bobcats will host the Greenbrier West Cavaliers on Friday, Sept. 3 at Garten Stadium.
