Anne J. Meadows, 73, of Meadow Creek went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 11, 2021 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.

Born July 9, 1947 at West Chester, PA, she was a daughter of the late Albert Stephen and Marion Gilken Walton.

Anne was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards and Yahtzee, crocheting, watching game shows, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Meadows; one son, Albert S. Weis; four brothers, Dale Walton, James Ferguson, Paul Walton, and Juggy Walton; and two sisters, Sissy Walton and Dot Walton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, John P. Weis III and wife, Donna of Honeybrook, PA, Bruce A. Weis and wife, Lorrie of Nottingham, PA, Shannon A. Meadows of Oxford, PA, Tammy M. Adkins and companion, Thomas Sea of Hinton, and Alicia F. Bennett and husband, Stephen of Hinton; grandchildren, Jamie, David, Nikki, Albert Jr., Anthony, Ronnie, John IV, Shawn, Bruce Jr., and Cayden; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kainaan, Michael, Kylee, Ryne, Kennedi, D.J., and Jasmine; one expected great-grandchild; and one sister, Ethel Mendenhall of Gap, PA.

At Anne’s request, there will be no services and her body will be cremated.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Anne’s in home nurses, Connie, Susan, and Cassie and the entire staff of Bower’s Hospice House for the loving care provided.
