CANTERBURY
Sandra Kay Canterbury, 76, of Hinton, died Monday, May 24, 2021 at Summers County A.R.H. Hospital.
Born August 22, 1944 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Olive Hawley Johnson.
Sandra was a 1963 graduate of Hinton High School and was a former employee of Pence Springs Manufacturing. She was a lifelong resident of Hinton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, David Bolling.
Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Burdette and husband, Farrell of Hinton and Mary Bolling of Nimitz; three nephews, Tim, Mike, and Mark Bolling; and a niece, Michelle Burdette and husband, Allen Ball.
Graveside services and burial were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Fox Cemetery at Brooks with Jim Irwin officiating. There will be no public visitation. Those attending the service were asked to meet at the cemetery on Thursday.
