HINTON, W.Va. (Hinton News) — The Hinton Accelerate Team, a group of community volunteers, will host a volunteer expo on Saturday, April 12, at the Freight Depot.

The event, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., aims to connect residents with local organizations seeking volunteer support.

According to organizers, more than 25 organizations that rely on volunteers to fulfill their missions will be present to provide information.

The Hinton Accelerate Team, in partnership with the West Virginia Community Development Hub, is organizing the expo to encourage community engagement and volunteerism.

The public is invited to attend and learn about opportunities to contribute to various local initiatives.

Organizers hope the event will help residents find suitable volunteer positions where they can utilize their skills and talents to benefit the community.
