UPDATE: According to the Summers County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect has been located and caught following the deployment of Talcott Fire Department members operating the department’s thermal capable drone.

 

ORIGINAL STORY:

JUMPING BRANCH W.Va. (Hinton News) – Earlier today, a vehicle pursuit involving a motorcycle traveled into Summers County before the individual wrecked in the Jumping Branch area, according to a statement from the Summers County Sheriff’s Department. Police also state that the individual fled from the accident on foot and ask that residents be on the lookout for a person wearing all black, possibly walking along the roadways or in the woods. The statement also notes that the person may not be from this area.

Anyone who sees someone matching the given description is asked to call 911.
