The Talcott Fire Department is once again hosting a Parade of Lights for Christmas. According to Chief Costomiris, the parade will take place on Dec. 17 beginning at 6 p.m. and travel the same route as it did in 2021. The fire trucks will begin their journey traversing Barger Springs Road to Lowell Road. From there, the trucks will go through Pence Springs to WV Route 3/12, through Talcott and Hilldale. The path will go to WV Route 12 to Forest Hill and then back to 4-H Camp Road. From 4-H Cap Road, the trucks will travel to Barger Springs Road toward Doc Fox Road. After going through Doc Fox Road and back to Barger Springs Road. Finally, the parade will end at John Henry Park in Talcott.

At the conclusion of the route, Santa will be joining the firefighters at the park for cookies and hot chocolate, everyone is welcome.
Anyone who wants to include their vehicle in the parade is welcome. The lineup begins at 5 p.m.
